Queer Print Club

The Queer Print Club is a community-engaged arts project, designed and led by Anna Gaby-Trotz and Jude Akrey for 2SLGBTQIA+ artists and community members in the City of Guelph that aims to connect 2SLGTBQIA+ community members through the act of collaborative art and printmaking projects. It involves a series of free workshops where participants will learn how to screen print and engage in a collaborative, empowering environment to create and share experiences and representations of belonging. Screenprinting, historically used as a form of protest, will serve as a tool for self-expression and solidarity. Participants will screen print their designs on textiles during the workshops, using their art as a statement of pride and resilience.
